Vice President - SME
Our client, a well established and well reputed UAE bank with more than 40 years presence, is looking to hire a Vice President - SME to join the bank's team in Dubai or Sharjah.
YOUR MISSIONS
- Develop, manage and grow assets and liabilities portfolios of the SME (deposits, loans, and investment products) by maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring quality and compliance of the customer base.
- Ensure overall assigned portfolio targets and KPIs are met, which include:
- Growth in assets and liabilities book
- Client retention and satisfaction rate
- Compliance audit ratings
- Cross-selling ratio and fee income contribution
- Enhance the portfolio quality and profitability while managing risks, including minimizing Non-Performing Loans, which includes:
- Monitoring and managing NPL accounts with the objective of minimizing delinquency rates.
- Implementing effective recovery strategies and negotiating repayment plans with clients where necessary.
- Liaising with the credit and legal departments to ensure proper documentation and timely resolution of problem accounts.
- Ensuring proactive follow-up on overdue payments and taking preventive measures to avoid slippage.
- Ensure targeted percentage of portfolio mix i.e. between CASA and Term Deposit is achieved.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify profitable sectors and client segments for business growth.
- Work closely with the product and credit teams to structure suitable financial solutions for clients.
- Manage and improve the existing portfolio by ensuring customer satisfaction, timely renewals, and cross-selling of bank products.
- Continuously monitor account performance and identify early warning signals to mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain healthy portfolio yield and ensure adherence to the bank’s risk and return parameters.
- Ensure all customer records are accurate, updated, and are in accordance with internal policies, compliance standards, and regulatory guidelines..
- Maintain complete documentation including Customer Legal Documents, Enhanced Due Diligence, Know Your Customer, and Financial Statements.
- Ensure proper credit limit management and monitoring of collateral and facility utilization.
- Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand their evolving requirements.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field, and having an MBA is a plus.
- You have at least 3 to 7 years of experience in Relationship Management within the banking sector, including a proven track record in portfolio growth and NPL management and a strong understanding of credit analysis, financial products, and risk management.
