JOB DESCRIPTION

• You will ensure that the underlining network, server and storage infrastructure and its associated technology operates efficiently, performs as per agreed objective.
• You will proactively support and strategically manage ICT environment including networks, servers, storage and operating systems.
• You will ensure that the service delivered from IT Operations team and Infrastructure team meets quality and standards, also ensuring the adequate support provided during IT and business project initiatives.
• You will ensure that the operations are in compliance with relevant standards agreed with concerned departments.
• You will adopt and implement best and affordable technology in ICT infrastructure to support and strengthen business requirements, also working on a capacity plan in line with upcoming business requirements.
• You will ensure that adequate controls are applied in Infrastructure activities and operations activities, and that IT security across bank’s sites is implemented as per defined baselines from relevant departments.
• You will monitor infrastructure services and take proactive or/and reactive steps to avoid banking service interruptions.
• You will ensure incidents are managed effectively with minimum impact and reported with a root cause analysis, and will participate in developing effective DRP plans by concerned department.
• You will ensure the successful implementation, maintenance and compliance of the defined IT policies and procedures, while also providing adequate technical / non- technical training to team members.
• You will make sure that KPIs are set and monitored regularly, that leaves are planned without impacting the service delivery, and that yearly performance reports are prepared.

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, as well as International accredited certifications in IT & Infrastructure.
• You have circa 10 years of experience supporting IT Operations (preferably in Networking, Server, Storage and OS Technology, and across Banking and Finance sectors), as well as thorough working knowledge of networking and data communications, and of different operating systems, storage and servers.
