Senior Private Banker - MENA Desk
We are seeking a Senior Private Banker for the MENA Desk in Zurich at a leading private banking institution. Drive client relationships, offer bespoke wealth solutions, and grow HNW/UHNW portfolios.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients from the MENA region.
- Portfolio Advisory: Provide tailored investment advice, wealth planning, and portfolio management solutions aligned with client goals.
- Business Development: Identify and attract new clients, expanding the bank’s MENA client base.
- Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with international teams to deliver seamless banking and investment services across jurisdictions.
- Product Expertise: Advise clients on a wide range of financial products, including equities, fixed income, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with Swiss and international regulatory standards.
- Client Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new clients, including risk assessment, KYC, and account setup.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor client portfolios, prepare performance reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Relationship Strategy: Develop long-term strategies to enhance client loyalty and maximize wallet share.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with investment specialists, relationship managers, and operations to deliver a high-quality client experience.
YOUR PROFILE
- 8–12+ years in private banking or wealth management, with significant exposure to MENA clients.
- Proven track record in managing HNW/UHNW client relationships and acquiring new clients.
- Strong understanding of MENA markets, regulations, and investment preferences.
- Deep knowledge of equities, fixed income, structured products, alternative investments, and wealth planning solutions.
- Familiarity with Swiss banking regulations, cross-border compliance, and KYC/AML standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, or similar) preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills; multilingual abilities (Arabic, English, French) highly advantageous.
- Strong financial analysis, portfolio assessment, and reporting capabilities.
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow client assets.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across international teams and departments.
