Senior Private Banker - Denmark Desk
Our client is seeking a Senior Private Banker – Denmark Desk in Luxembourg to join their team and deliver bespoke investment solutions to HNW/UHNW and drive business development.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HNW/UHNW clients from Denmark.
- Provide tailored investment advice, wealth planning, and portfolio management solutions.
- Identify and acquire new clients to grow the Denmark client segment.
- Coordinate with international teams to deliver seamless cross-border banking and investment services.
- Advise clients on a broad range of financial products, including equities, fixed income, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with Luxembourg and international regulatory requirements.
- Lead client onboarding, including KYC, risk assessment, and account setup.
- Monitor client portfolios, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights on performance and strategy.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to increase client loyalty and maximize wallet share.
- Collaborate with internal specialists, relationship managers, and operations teams to ensure high-quality client service.
YOUR PROFILE
- Extensive experience (8–12+ years) in private banking or wealth management, ideally with Danish or Nordic clients.
- Proven track record in managing HNW/UHNW client relationships and acquiring new clients.
- Strong knowledge of Danish/Nordic markets, client needs, and investment preferences.
- Expertise in a broad range of financial products: equities, fixed income, structured products, alternative investments, and wealth planning solutions.
- Familiarity with Luxembourg banking regulations, cross-border compliance, and KYC/AML requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, or similar) preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills; multilingual abilities (Danish, English, French) highly advantageous.
- Strong financial analysis, portfolio assessment, and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow client assets.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across international teams and departments.
