Relationship Manager
One of the reputed UAE islamic banks is looking to hire a Relationship Manager covering either GCC or international client base, to join the Wealth Management team of the bank in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Client Origination & Relationship Coverage:
Acquire new clients within the affluent, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth segments in accordance with established banking and wealth eligibility criteria.
Manage and grow existing client relationships through structured coverage, proactive engagement, and consistent service delivery.
Adopt an advisory-led approach by understanding clients’ financial positions, investment objectives, and risk tolerances.
Drive business development through referrals, professional networks, client events, internal partnerships, and coordinated marketing initiatives across domestic and international locations.
Wealth Management & Banking Solutions:
Distribute a broad range of investment, protection, and advisory products, including capital market instruments, structured investments, funds, and bancassurance solutions, aligned with client needs and suitability requirements.
Originate and cross-sell core banking products such as deposits, lending facilities, and property financing, ensuring solutions are appropriate to each client’s financial profile.
Partner with internal investment advisors, product teams, and credit specialists to structure customised banking and wealth solutions.
International Business & Market Coverage:
Utilise the bank’s regional and international presence to identify cross-border opportunities and support clients with offshore wealth, investment, and financing requirements.
Monitor market conditions, regulatory developments, and competitor offerings to ensure effective positioning of banking and wealth propositions.
Client Onboarding, Compliance & Controls:
Oversee the full client onboarding lifecycle, ensuring completion of account opening documentation, due diligence, and KYC requirements in line with regulatory standards.
Maintain strict adherence to internal policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management procedures governing client relationships.
Revenue Growth & Performance Management:
Achieve assigned targets across client acquisition, assets under management, lending volumes, and fee income.
Track portfolio performance, identify growth opportunities, and take corrective actions to enhance business outcomes.
Deepen client relationships through effective cross-selling to maximise long-term revenue and client lifetime value.
Professional Representation & Client Advocacy:
Represent the bank at client engagements, industry events, and networking forums to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Deliver a high standard of client service by anticipating evolving needs, supporting retention, referrals, and sustained relationship growth.
YOUR PROFILE
You have at least 2-3 years of experience in wealth management, priority banking or private banking.
You possess a strong understanding of wealth management products, private banking services, and liability solutions.
You can source new clients and build long-term and profitable relationships with priveledge segment clients, HNWI and UHNWI.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and are able to engage clients in a professional, confident, and approachable manner.
You have excellent understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in WM.
You possess strong analytical skills and are attentive to detail, with a high degree of self-motivation, and a focus on achieving the defined targets.
