JOB DESCRIPTION

Investment Analyst will support the evaluation, monitoring, and management of private market investments across asset classes including Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit, and alternative investments. The role requires strong expertise in private markets combined with advanced IT and analytical capabilities to support investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, reporting automation, and data-driven decision-making.

• Conduct financial and investment analysis of Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit, and alternative investment opportunities.

• Review and analyse investment documentation, fund structures, legal agreements, and transaction materials related to private market investments.

• Assess investment, operational, legal, and reputational risks associated with illiquid assets and alternative investment structures.

• Monitor portfolio performance, valuations, capital calls, distributions, and key risk indicators across existing private market investments.

• Support the execution and coordination of restructurings, corporate actions, and secondary transactions relating to private assets.

• Prepare investment analysis, due diligence materials, portfolio reports, and investment committee presentations.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance investment dashboards, reporting tools, and portfolio monitoring systems using strong IT and data analytics skills.

• Contribute to the automation and optimisation of investment reporting and operational processes.

• Coordinate with internal teams, fund managers, administrators, custodians, legal advisors, and external service providers.

• Support ongoing market research and analysis across global private markets and alternative investment sectors.

YOUR PROFILE

• A Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

• Circa 3 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, alternative investments, M&A or IB.

• Strong understanding of private markets, fund structures, valuation methodologies, and investment risk assessment.

• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills with exposure to corporate finance and investment transactions.

• Strong IT and systems capabilities are essential, including advanced Excel and experience with data analytics, reporting automation, Power BI, VBA, SQL, Bloomberg, or investment management systems.

• Ability to work with large datasets and improve reporting efficiency through technology-driven solutions.

• Experience in investment reporting, portfolio monitoring, and operational oversight within private markets environments.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

• Team player with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
